There is news of a plane crash in the Badakhshan Khan region of Afghanistan. Pakistani and Afghan media initially reported it to be an Indian aircraft. However, the Civil Aviation Ministry clarified that the plane is not Indian but a small aircraft registered in Morocco.

Earlier, Pakistani media house Sama, citing information from the Badakhshan province’s police command, had reported that the plane went off the radar last night and subsequently crashed in the mountainous region of Jebak district.

Team Sent for Investigation

Team Sent for Investigation Around 12:45 PM, it was initially reported by Afghan media that this aircraft belonged to India and was en route to Moscow. However, within half an hour, it was clarified that this is not an Indian passenger plane. Currently, no Indian aircraft is flying through Afghan airspace.

Meanwhile, News reported, citing Jabeullah Amiri, the spokesperson for the Badakhshan Information Department, that a team has been sent to the area for the investigation of the incident.
