This year, UPSC has opened 1,056 vacancies for the Civil Services Examination, with an additional 150 seats designated for the Indian Forest Services (IFoS).
Application Process
Prospective candidates are invited to submit their applications for the Civil Services Preliminary examination (UPSC CSE Prelims 2024), which has begun from Wednesday. Moreover, applicants can also enroll for the Indian Forest Services (IFS) Prelims through the CSE platform.
Deadline and Important Information
The deadline for submitting applications for the UPSC CSE 2024 examination is March 5. It’s worth noting that there has been a significant reduction in vacancies compared to the previous year. Interested individuals are urged to carefully review the notification for detailed information on eligibility criteria, selection processes, age relaxation policies, and the necessary steps for form completion.
Representation Period
Following the examination, the Commission has allotted a designated period of 7 days for candidates to submit representations regarding the questions posed in the Examination Papers. This period starts from the day following the Examination Date and concludes at 6:00 p.m. on the 7th day. It’s essential to adhere to this timeframe as submissions through other methods will not be considered, and no representations will be accepted beyond the stipulated 7-day window under any circumstances.
