Record-breaking donation: A Surat diamond family stuns Ayodhya with a 101kg gold gift for the Ram Mandir’s doors, making it the temple’s largest contribution so far. This magnificent offering will also gild the Sanctum Sanctorum, Trishul, Damru, and pillars, adding to the temple’s divine aura. The Garbhgriha gate and 14 ground-floor gates already gleam with gold, showcasing the dedication of devotees and the temple’s growing splendour.

The idol of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya completed the dedication ceremony known as “Pran Pratishtha” earlier in the day, which was celebrated with a great deal of excitement both in the temple town and across the country. The ceremony was made even more spectacular by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s enthusiastic participation in the customs.

Concurrently, Vishva Hindu Parishad National Treasurer Dinesh Bhai Naviya revealed that Mukesh Patel played a noteworthy role by donating jewellery for the Lord Ram idol that was placed in the newly built temple.

The second-largest contribution, amounting to Rs. 16.3 crore, has been generously made by the devotees of Shree Ram Katha, followers of the esteemed orator Morari Bapu. In addition, Govindbhai Dholakia, a prominent diamond businessman from Surat and the founder of Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK), has also contributed Rs. 11 crore. This significant donation reflects the philanthropic spirit and commitment to charitable causes demonstrated by Mr. Dholakia. DeshGujarat has reported on this notable act of generosity.
