Today’s the big day! Samsung is finally showing off its newest and best phones, the Galaxy S24 series. After all the whispers and hints, we’ll get to see them live at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose. You can even watch it online on YouTube, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and other places.
What to expect? Three brand new phones! There’s the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Galaxy S24 Plus, and just the Galaxy S24. They’re packed with clever AI features and even better than the phones that came before them.
Where and when can I watch? The event starts at 1 PM Eastern Time today (that’s 11:30 PM Indian time) at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Want to watch on Samsung’s website? Go for it! Register there and you could win a Rs 5,000 voucher for Samsung products! Plus, put down Rs 1,999 and you’ll be one of the first to grab a new Galaxy S24 phone when it’s out.
Get ready for pricier Samsung phones!
Whispers are saying the new Galaxy S24+ might cost way more than last year’s model. We’re talking about around Rs 10,000 extra! The base version could set you back between Rs 1,04,999 and Rs 1,05,999. That’s quite a jump from the previous Rs 94,999 for the S23+.
The same story goes for the fancy Galaxy S24 Ultra. It’s rumored to cost Rs 10,000 more than its older brother, the S23 Ultra, reaching somewhere between Rs 1,34,999 and Rs 1,35,999.
But hold your horses! These are just guesses, not official prices. Samsung might surprise us and keep the price tags the same, as some other rumors suggest. We’ll know for sure in a few days at the big reveal.
One thing’s for sure: convincing people to buy these pricey new phones will be a challenge for Samsung. It’ll be interesting to see what tricks they have up their sleeve!
No word yet on the cheapest Galaxy S24’s price!
We can only guess how much the regular Galaxy S24 will cost, but last year’s model started at Rs 74,999. Maybe they’ll keep it the same? We’ll know for sure soon!
Meanwhile, the fancy Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra might be pricier than their older brothers, similar to how Apple bumped up the iPhone 15 prices.
